Terms of Service
Effective date: September 28, 2026. Tetrapolar LLC, Próspera ZEDE.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Use of the Tetrapolar platform constitutes agreement to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Operator Identity
The platform is operated by Tetrapolar LLC, incorporated in Próspera ZEDE. All services are provided from this jurisdiction.
3. Service Description
Tetrapolar provides a non-custodial coordination layer for bitcoin multisig escrow transactions. The platform enables counterparties to create and manage 2-of-2 and 2-of-3 multisig escrow arrangements; Tetrapolar holds one key solely for dispute scenarios or key-loss recovery. Tetrapolar does not take possession of funds, assets, or titles at any time.
4. Non-Custodial Architecture
The platform never has unilateral control of any bitcoin. All funds remain locked in user-controlled multisig addresses. Users are fully responsible for securing their private keys, hardware wallets, passphrases, and backups.
5. Not a Financial Institution
Tetrapolar does not provide money transmission, brokerage, banking, investment, legal, or financial advisory services. The platform exclusively coordinates signing flows for non-custodial multisig transactions.
6. Eligibility and Jurisdictional Restrictions
A "User" is any person who registers an account, creates, operates, or funds a transaction, holds or controls a private key used in connection with a transaction, or signs for a transaction. An "Introducer" only refers or advises counterparties and is not a User. "Restricted Jurisdiction" means the United States of America, the United Arab Emirates, jurisdictions under comprehensive OFAC sanctions, and any state, country, or territory embargoed by the United Nations, the United States of America, or the European Union.
Use as a User is prohibited to residents, citizens, or entities organised under the laws of a Restricted Jurisdiction, and Users must not access the platform from one. Introducers must not register accounts, create, fund, or operate transactions, or hold or control private keys. Access by Tetrapolar LLC personnel for operation, support, testing, or demonstration is not restricted.
7. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for securing hardware wallets, devices, and authentication methods; verifying counterparties, underlying asset transactions, and transaction details; and complying with applicable law. Tetrapolar is not involved in inspections, logistics, title transfers, or due diligence.
8. Fees
Tetrapolar charges platform fees disclosed during deal creation or onboarding. Fees are non-refundable once a deal is completed. A payout to the seller or refund to the buyer both constitute completed deals subject to the applicable fee.
Fee tiers are based on trading volume: 1% from $1,000–$50,000; 0.75% from $50,001–$250,000; 0.5% from $250,001–$1,000,000; 0.25% from $1,000,001–$5,000,000; and 0.1% above $5,000,000.
9. Disputes
Tetrapolar does not mediate or adjudicate disputes. It acts only upon valid court orders or arbitration rulings issued by mutually chosen dispute-resolution bodies. Third-party legal counsel may verify court orders before Tetrapolar's key is used.
10. Prohibited Use
The platform may not be used for fraud, money laundering, sanctions violations, illegal asset trades, identity misrepresentation, or attempts to compromise platform security. Violations may result in immediate termination.
11. Platform Availability
Service may be interrupted, modified, or discontinued at any time during beta. No uptime guarantees are provided.
12. No Warranty
The platform is provided "as is" without express or implied warranties. Users assume the risks associated with bitcoin, multisig systems, hardware wallets, and counterparties.
13. Limitation of Liability
Tetrapolar is not liable for losses arising from user error or key compromise, counterparty fraud, network congestion or blockchain behavior, hardware wallet malfunction, incorrect signatures, misuse of tools, or connected third-party services.
15. Amendments
Tetrapolar may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws and regulations of Próspera ZEDE.
